Piedmont 4th of July

One of the great things about the neighborhood that Alan grew up in is the fact that it's a very tight-knit community, and they go all out when it comes to community-focused holidays, such as the 4th of July. Families from all across town are either part of the parade, or they claim their spots along Highland Avenue to watch the parade. Kids in red, white, and blue outfits are scattered far and wide, and the number of dogs comes close to matching the number of adults. And, as you will see below, it's a classic car lover's dream.

(Note: pictures taken with my new Nikon D5300, which arrived at 4 p.m. on July 3rd.)
