WE BOUGHT A HOUSE

After what could have been another last-minute fiasco, this morning we confirmed everything was squared away with buying the house and then at 2 p.m. we signed a crap ton of paperwork with a mobile notary. Because the paperwork includes our middle initials we had to sign showing this which really changed up my signature. I had to practice first.

Once we were all done, I called my sister and told her she could head on over. I also reminded her to take the camera and post some good pictures for me (up until now all pics we've seen have been from her iTouch). She's going to buy primer & paint tomorrow and they're going to refinish the hardwood floors this weekend. Hopefully they'll be able to move in before next weekend because she goes back to school for the summer session (Jenny's getting her nursing degree).

I can't wait to see it in person! Just a couple of months now.

So exciting - congrats that it's finally official. The house is so beautiful, I cannot wait to see what it looks like when they're done with it. :)

I love this house.  I can't wait until we're all there for the 4th of July holiday. The kids seem to really like exploring.  It's going to be a great family house.  Congrats to everyone.!!!! :)

    A
real big house, I suppose. Just needs a little trimming and landscaping
on the outside, some refurbishing on the inside, and it will be back to
its grand state in no time. The interior’s color scheme is very earthy
so maybe you can use more vibrant paint for the kids who totally look
adorable, actively participating in with the inspection of the house.
    Congrats!!

  6. You’ve been really blessed, Becky. That’s quite a big house,
or do you intend to make it a home office as well? Aside from the attic and the
basement bathroom, the rest of the house is totally well-maintained. I’m sure
the kids would enjoy growing up in there. :D All the best!

  7. It looks like a good deal, Becky! Congratulations! In
designing a house, it’s good to consider the property’s space. It should be
noted that the size of a room determines the size of the furniture that would
placed in it. Also, effective color therapy could be considered upon defining a
    certain room’s function.

Awww that window seat is just so adorable! And so are your cute little kids! I can’t wait to see how the house looks like with all the furniture in it. I’m sure you’ll make a lot of happy memories there. =)

  9. I never thought this post would draw so much spam from the real estate community, but alas it has. Lots of deleting this morning.
