VANCOUVER ISLAND REAL ESTATE - TOFINO

I have a conference call with India at 9:30 p.m. so I figured now was a good time to play around on the Internet to find houses in Tofino for sale. I've already described the geographic layout of the peninsula, so I won't go into that again. What I will say is that between Ukee and Tofino, my heart is in Tuff City. Ukee is the more economic option, but if we're going to go through the ordeal of moving to a whole other country I feel like we need to go all out and live in the place that calls to us. So here are some places for sale in Tofino. Yeah, it's expensive.

$ 1,450,000 | NEILSON ISLAND
(Why yes, that is an entire island for sale)

$792,000 - 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms

$550,000 - 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms

$629,000 - 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms

$659,000 - 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms

$665,000 - 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms

$499,000 - 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms

$353,000 - 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms

$349,000 - 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom

$265,000 - 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom

$205,000 - 0 bedrooms, 1 bathroom

$399,000 - 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom

$418,000 - 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms

$485,000 - 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms

$549,000 - 6 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms

$627,000 - 4 bedrooms, ? bathrooms (+ rental suite)

$579,000 - 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms

$569,000 - 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (+ rental suite)

$245,000 - 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom

$569,000 - 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms

$639,000 - 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms

$895,000 - 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms

$568,000 - 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom

$949,000 - 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms (This is my favorite house that's currently for sale in all of Tofino. I absolutely love the light and property.)

So there it is. Not an easy housing market, to say the least. Thankfully we've got some time to save some money. :-)

I can't see the last few (including your favorite).  But, the idea of a rental suite is good, especially if you can just rent to tourists. :)

  2. Should be fixed now.

I do like the idea of having a rental suite, but I think that's a long way off given the cost.
