RETAIL THERAPY

I went to the dentist this morning and found out that before I can get my Invisalign, I'll need to have a wisdom tooth removed. Upon learning this I thought, "Wisdom tooth? What wisdom tooth?!" You see, I had my wisdom teeth out when I was 16. All of them. Or so I thought. And no matter how hard I tried to keep my mouth clean, they all got infected. So um, I'm not exactly looking forward to having this done again. At least this time I'm not dealing with an impacted tooth. Still, I'm pretty sure I'm going to have them knock my shit out before they pull it out of my jaw. I need to get this done before September. I have no idea how much it's going to cost. I'm guessing as much as a root canal. I do, however, know how much my Invisalign is going to cost - $2650 (after insurance). Yeah, not cool, especially since I've already had braces once.

Because I'm getting ready to spend a boat load of cash on my mouth, I thought it prudent to ... go shopping. Specifically, shoe shopping.

I bought:

I'd tried on the Merrell boots about a year ago but couldn't pull the trigger at $145. The store across the street from my dentist was having a huge sale and they were marked down to $62 so I got them too. I feel bad about spending money on shoes that I don't need, especially since I'm about to spend a bunch of money on something that is about 50% cosmetic, but oh well. I'll make more money.
