In Oakland, our leaves don't turn red. They fall from the trees, fully dead - brown and crunchy. Also, it's still like 80 degrees here. Maybe these are burnt leaves?
I'm really looking forward to our trip to Ohio next month so that I can experience autumnal spelendour, for reals.
