CONDO CAUDILL TOUR

Now that we've lived here four months I thought it was time to actually show the place off. I kept holding off until things were more settled, or put together ... or camera ready. But then I realized that they probably won't be that way for another few months and right now things are good enough. Actually, I was taking a picture of Dakota sitting on the opposite end of the couch from me and I realized that the room looked pretty decent. Then I said to myself, "yeah, this is good enough." So here you go - the main living areas of condocaudill.

The scaffolding is what they were putting up on Friday that nearly drove me to commit unprecedented levels of P to the T.

The white strip in the corner is the result of the workmen IN our apartment for 2 hours longer than they said they were going to be.

The sconces and the clock are wedding gifts from Pottery Barn, circa 2002.

  1. I think you may have accomplished more in 3-4mo than I have managed in 3years haha. It looks really welcoming and put together Becky, even if it's still not 'done'.

  2. Ah! I love it! It looks wonderful, so cozy, so well put together. Also, I officially adore Dakota and kind of really want to cuddle all that fluff!

  3. We were definitely going for cozy. And Dakota is the BEST to cuddle with, but she makes you work for it.

  4. I felt like once we got the frames up in the office that it was done enough. Our bedroom probably won't ever get finished, but whatcha gonna do? (Other than devote time to it, of course.)

  5. It looks so freaking comfortable!
We have a bad habit of collecting "for now" stuff and then never getting rid of it. It looks like you guys have quality pieces of furniture and it all looks great together.
Where is your coffee table from?

  6. What you see here is the best of what we had left over from our house when we sold it and gave away a bunch of things. We invested a lot of money in the couch about 8 years ago and it's been a great purchase for us (even if it was much too large for our craftsman home). A lot of the pieces are antiques that we got from Alan's family. The coffee table came from a small, family-run furniture store that was going out of business about 8 years ago. I have no idea who the maker is, but that thing is a tank!

  7. I should note, lest you think that we entirely have our act together, a lot of our bedroom is still made up of Ikea purchases.

Wow, the place has really come together! And Dakota's face in the second to last photo is absolutely priceless. I'm in love!

  10. I just wish the office was mine alone. We're sharing the space and lemme tell you ... I do not like that.

  11. Our bedroom and guest bath is still a big old question mark, but I feel like we've done a good job with our main spaces without having to do any furniture shopping. That was something I was worried about.

    Dakota likes to photobomb.
