ANOTHER NIGHT IN TREME
Last night we went to a New Orleans SFJazz show at the Paramount in Downtown Oakland featuring the Soul Rebels and Dr. John. The Paramount is an art deco masterpiece. And the seats were so comfortable (unlike The Curran in downtown SF). It was so much fun! By the time intermission rolled around, I was already scheming up a way for us to get back to New Orleans in the next year or so. I love that city so much!

It was a GREAT night for Brass Band Jazz! A 41st Anniversary present to each other...once WE (audience) warmed up (it was a Friday night)...the show just got better and better. The Soul Rebels really rocked and Dr. John and the Lower 911 expanded the bill. Looking forward to TREME starting up for another season, I miss it!
