Wrapping up Tofino

After spending our last full day in Tofino cocooned in the warmth and dryness of our unit at Middle Beach Lodge, we woke up on our travel day to warmer temps and sunny skies. In fact, the weather forecast called for the warmest day in Tofino of the summer. I saw later on Twitter that for once the forecast had been spot on. While such gorgeous weather made leaving Tofino even more sad than usual, it made for a beautiful drive home through the Alberni Valley and cruise across the Straight of Georgia.
