Happy Anniversary to Us!

Nine years ago today Alan and I were married in a small ceremony at the Fairmont Kea Lani on Maui. We were surrounded by a few friends & our immediate families and it meant so much to have a simple - yet beautiful - ceremony done on our terms, incorporating elements that were personal to us. Our wedding was not without its hiccups (don't get me started on the wedding planner, videographer or the flowers!), but our marriage, while having both its ups and downs, has been terrific and I couldn't imagine sharing my life with anyone but him.
