Decorating with Maps

I've long been thinking about decorating our office with a giant map hanging above the desk area. Our walls are a deep green (Nile River by Behr) and we have an old farmhouse desk, wood shelves and two leather club chairs. There's just something right about a big old map fitting into the space.

But I don't want one of those bright blue maps that you remember from your third grade classroom. I'm thinking something a bit more subdued. Maybe even tea stained. Something that looks vintage, even if it's not. (It looks like National Geographic is a good place to start.)

Oh gosh, I'd love to get an old steamer trunk in there as well! Okay, now the ideas are really coming.
