Well, folks. It's that time of year again. National Novel Writing Month - or NaNoWriMo - is upon us once again. If you've been following casacaudill for any length of time you'll know that I haven't exactly been successful in this endeavor. And I probably won't be again this year, but it never hurts to try. I'm currently at around 67,000 words on the book I've been writing since 2008 or so. My plan is to use November and this contest to finish it up. I can't promise I'll make it. I can't even promise that I'll do a good job of it, but I'm at least going to have the best intentions to do so.
Hopefully I can curb my desire for MORE EDITS and just write. It's unlikely, but we'll see.
Good luck Becky! You're a brave soul.

ReplyDeleteI still haven't finished the story I had you reading ... two years ago?
ReplyDeleteI know, finish the damn book so it's ready for print. I know you've got it in you.
ReplyDeleteI am impressed with the patience it takes to stick with writing a novel (unless one is the type of writer who finishes a novel in a one-stretch writing session). So you definitely have my respect!
