Today we spent the day at two beaches - Ke'e and Hanalei Bay. The snorkeling at Ke'e was fantastic. I saw so many fish and because the water was like glass I was able to get really close to the reef without freaking myself out. Unfortunately the wind at Hanalei Bay was kind of insane so we couldn't really have our umbrella up. And fine granules of sand were flying everywhere. I learned today also that I need to get my Kindle back from my mom because reading from the Kindle app on the iPad while in the sun is pretty much impossible. I also learned that SPFs 30 and 50 are no match for the Kauai sun. I am burnt. Rock lobster!
